Fast Forward

Ok.....Since time is a major issue in my life right now with work and the kids, it looks as though I am going to have to fast forward to the present because at this pace I am falling farther and farther behind. Kilee is currently nine months old.

On Our Way

We finally gathered all of the items we thought that we needed and loaded the car for the 45 minute trip to the hospital. Her water broke so we had to place a bunch of towels on her seat. (that was my great idea.) When we arrived at the emergency room it was quite nice as this hospital has valet service. We headed to the maternity ward and they had to verify that she was indeed in labor. But once the nurse saw that her pant were soaked, they skipped all the other test's and took us to a room for admission........The day has just begun.

I THINK MY WATER BROKE

It was early on the morning of October 19th when Carrie says.....I think that my water just broke. It has been thirteen years since I heard those words. My heart starting racing like I had never been thru this before. We are only 35 weeks pregnant, this can not being happening right now, but oh yes it is. I realize we have not even packed a hospital bag for Carrie or myself, then I realize we should call the doctor. The doctor tells us to go to the hospital for an evaluation. We must first pack some things, my mind is racing at a million MPH. I just remember that I sure want my IPOD this time, they never had those things 13 years ago....We finally get packed and Carrie takes a shower because she is insistant that she must shave her legs. We are headed for our journey to the hospital.
